DELIVERY AND RETURN

★ How long is your delivery time?
We have a delivery time of 1-3 working days within Sweden. If you place your order before 1 PM (Monday - Friday) we usually ship it the same day. During large shopping periods, such as November and December, it may take an extra week for the package to arrive.

★ Which countries do you ship to?
We sell to Sweden and many countries within the EU. But keep your eyes open because we will soon be able to ship to even more countries. In addition, we have several retailers, (both online and physical stores), around the world who sell our products.

★ How much does shipping cost?
We have free shipping on all orders over 599 SEK. Otherwise, a shipping fee of 69 SEK will be added. Your package will be delivered by Schenker.

★ Where is my order?
You can track your order using your parcel ID that you have received via email. If you cannot find the email, a tip is to check your spam folder to make sure it has not ended up there.

★ Can I send the package to a friend?
Absolutely! You do this at checkout under the tab called 'Delivery'.

★ What do I do if I want to return a product?
Sometimes it happens that children receive duplicates on their birthday. In that case, it is of course possible to make a return. With us, you have a 30-day open purchase and it starts to apply on the day you receive your delivery. Fill in the form you received with your order and put it in the package together with the product. In order to be able to make a return, the product needs to be intact and in its original packaging. Therefore, also make sure to pack it well before you send it back so that nothing happens on the way. One tip is to use the same packaging you received it in to save on the environment. Put the return slip that came with the package with your order on it and hand it in at your delivery point. Ask for a receipt that you have sent your package. As soon as we have received your order back, we will make a refund via Klarna. We will deduct 49 SEK in return shipping costs. If you have questions about your return, you can always contact us at [email protected].

★ What do I do if my product is broken?
First of all, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience. We will do everything we can to send a new spare part or arrange a replacement as quickly as possible. To make a complaint, please contact our customer service at [email protected]. In the email, please include:
1. Name and address
2. Order number
3. Phone number
4. Attach a photo of the defect and a brief explanation of what is broken on your product.

★ How long does a refund take?
This depends a bit on which payment method you chose. But it usually takes a maximum of 14 days from the time we approve your return. Also keep in mind that we deduct 49 SEK for return shipping for a regular return. In the case of a complaint or faulty goods, there is no return shipping charge.

CLEANING

★ How should your furniture fabrics be cleaned?
Just like us adults, children can spill and drop things. That's why we recommend that you use furniture shampoo in case of an accident. If you don't already have some at home, these are easy to find in various furniture stores and are also available to buy online.

★ Any tips on how I can maintain my carpet I bought from you?
On each product page here at kidsconcept.se you will find care instructions on how to keep your products nice and fresh. But some tips are to vacuum and spin the carpet regularly to get even wear. Use a flat nozzle and not a rotating brush when vacuuming. It is advisable to air the carpet often to remove mites and dust. Try not to expose the carpet to direct sunlight.

Remove stains as quickly as possible for best results. Dry stains can be removed immediately by gently scraping towards the centre of the stain and vacuuming up the residue. If the stain is wet, you can soak it up with a paper towel or a white, damp cloth with mild detergent. Do not rub the paper, but press down on the stain and then let the rug dry flat. If you have a small rug, you can use the hand wash program with cold water and mild detergent. If you have a larger rug, you can hand wash it in your bathtub, for example. For particularly difficult stains, professional rug cleaning may be required. After washing, the rug may shrink 5-8%, and colors may also fade slightly.

MANUFACTURING

★ What type of wood do you use in your products??
We use different types of wood such as MDF, schima, pine, plywood, rubberwood, beech and poplar. Which we use depends partly on the appearance but above all on the fact that it should be safe to mess around and play with. The materials for each product are specified on the product page.

★ Where are your products manufactured?
We manufacture most of our products in Asia, but also in Europe. We collaborate with about twenty fantastic factories around the world that we visit continuously. It is important for us to check that all factories and suppliers we work with comply with the regulations, environmental and labor requirements.

★ How does the supplier know what to do to comply with the laws?
We follow the laws we have within the EU. For example, we have the chemicals legislation "REACH". Then it is our routine to inform our suppliers about relevant hazardous chemicals in the particular product they manufacture for us.

★ How do you ensure that workers in factories have a good working environment?
The working environment and working conditions of our suppliers are a high priority for us. All our suppliers must sign our code of conduct, which is included in our agreement. The code of conduct is based on the UN Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the ILO (International Labour Organisation) conventions on working conditions and rights at work. Most of our factories are also controlled according to well-known initiatives such as BSCI, SEDEX, SA8000 and ICTI. If the employees are doing well, our products will do so too.

SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

★ How do I know that your toys are safe for my child?
Almost everyone at our headquarters has children and we know how important it is to have safe toys. Children should be able to have fun and play without us having to worry. In Europe, we have strict legislation and government control regarding the safety of toys. We follow all laws and regulations regarding product safety and test all our products according to the standards that exist. For a toy to be approved, it must have a CE marking. This means that the toy meets the requirements according to, among others, the standards EN71-1,2,3. This in turn means that we follow all the rules that apply to small parts, crushing hazards, choking hazards, dyes, flame safety and certain chemical substances. We ensure this by having an independent testing laboratory test the toy before it comes on the market, so that it complies with the applicable safety requirements. In addition, we have a test panel at the headquarters that pulls, tugs, tears and knocks on all our new toys to further ensure that everything is safe for your child.

Alla våra produkter testas i laboratorier utifrån REACH-lagstiftningen
